Amazing App Overall
Overall, this is a very good app. I am used to the complicated procedure of using Photoshop or GIMP or something like that, taking lots of time (sometimes more than an hour or two) to select something, masking my selection, and desaturating the image just to get this part color and part grayscale effect. This app makes it easier, because you can pretty much just paint a general area that you want in color and then use the "gray splash" brush to fine-tune it so that only exactly what you want is in color. I only have a few suggestions:
1. What if one wants to have the whole image in color except for a few parts? I think users should have the option of starting the photo out in full color OR grayscale, and not have to start out with everything colorless unless they want to.
2. I think that users should have the option of color filtering. Say you have a picture of a blue hat on a guys head, and you want the hat to be in color. If my proposed color filtering was added, one could set a specific range of blue hues and saturations that the brush would colorize. This would allow users to carelessly drag the coloring brush over the hat quickly and still only color the hat, so long as there isnt anything else of that shade of blue in the area that the user is covering with the brush.
3. Support for .jpg files. iSplash supports .jpeg, but not .jpg.
Other than that, this is a really decent app and I appreciate its ability to make cool pictures without complex tools and interfaces that would confuse some users. I fully recommend to anybody, it is a great app (especially for the price)
